For those who need to take a break, there are plenty of sites with excellent views where you can stop over and take a rest. As some of the historical sites in the northern part of the Island are off the cycling paths, you will get plenty of exercise walking to the sites. Climbing the hills will allow you to take advantage of fantastic views.
In the Southern part of the Island, you would be well advised to use a bicycle as there are many traffic snarl ups in the area.  A bicycle would be much faster.

The wildlife of Cycling Jersey is worth having a look at considering that they are species of animals. The Durrell conservation trust houses endangered species of wild animals some of which can be found only in Jersey.
