There are a number of airlines which offer flights to Jersey. One can jet into Jersey Island from any part of the world due to the availability of flights to Jersey throughout the year.

It is important to know the check in time for the airline you are using on flights to Jersey and adhere to it strictly. For most airlines, check in is usually one hour before the take off time. Picture of Plane.There is only one Airport in Jersey Island. Jersey Airport is the main airport of the Island. It is located near Saint Helier town, which is the capital of the island. Flights to Jersey end at the Airport and passengers have to alight and walk down the only runway to the main building. All the gates are usually near the baggage reclaim area.

In the baggage reclaim, you can pick up some of the available free tourist guides. There are payphones and toilets one can use in the baggage reclaim area. Passengers are only allowed to use their mobile phones once and smoking is not allowed.

After the baggage reclaim, the next step is the arrivals hall. It takes about half an hour after alighting from one’s flight to get through the baggage area and leave the airport.
 
The cab fair from the airport varies between 6-10 pounds to Jersey hotels. Also, a bus is provided to ferry passengers from the airport to Saint Helier passing through 2 or 3 of the Parishes. It departs every twenty minutes from the passenger lounge. It costs less than two pounds to take the bus.

The airport also has facilities that most other major airports have such as shops, eating areas, bars and lodging areas. There is a bureau de change available at the arrival halls, though there are no banks.
Condor ferries can be used once one gets on the Island, to travel to France.
