You may feel free to call Jersey the paradise of shopping; you will find all over the island all sort of shopping places, especially in Saint Helier. Not being part of the United Kingdom, Jersey is not forced to pay the British taxes, so all products that can be found here are VAT free. There are however, some taxes applied for the local goods and services but still you will be able to shop in Jersey anything that you may think of, and everything at much lower prices.

In case you care for coffees, drinks or food you might consider visiting the Victorian market, best deal can be made there.  

Due to the VAT free factor, it is extremely affordable to shop for expensive jewellery or electronic devices. Any other luxury products you may think of, like fine perfumes and lingerie, old wines and spirits, you will find them here but with a lower price. If you find yourself in Jersey, make sure you check out the traditional local products such as cider, butter, woollen goods and wines. Make sure you visit the Bergerac Wine Cellar from Saint Helier in order to taste the oldest wines and the latest crops. Afterwards do not forget to taste the seafood from specialized restaurants; they have amazing traditional dishes and special recipes.
